Our fully furnished cozy cottage on 17.5 acres is the perfect basecamp for coastal adventures. Located 3 miles north of the Matagorda Harbor and 10 miles from Matagorda Beach activities including fishing, boating, birding, beachcombing, water activities, or just escaping from the city. Our cottage has a bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a sofa bed. Fish Camp Matagorda has everything you need for a wonderful coastal vacation with an on-site swimming pool (for rental guests only), outdoor lounge, 2 pavilions, BBQ pits, covered seating, stocked fishing pond (catch & release only), boat parking and much more.
If you are interested in a pet friendly option see our availability for the Seaworthy and Sea Fog Cottages where a $75 non-refundable pet fee will need to be added to your reservation at checkout.
Getting settled in on arrival is a breeze with self check in/check out via a lock box conveniently located on the front door of your cottage. Entry code and further instructions will be sent in email prior to arrival. Ask about early check-in/late check-out availability (fee may apply).
We aim to be good stewards of our environment and ask all guests to do the same; please leave no trace and always leave a place better than you found it.
