Our fully furnished bungalow on 17.5 is the perfect basecamp for coastal adventures. Located 3 miles north of the Matagorda Harbor and 10 miles from Matagorda Beach activities including fishing, boating, birding, beachcombing, water activities, or just escaping from the city. Our property features large oak trees to shade the coastal sun for those lazy afternoons with a covered porch and a screened porch to enjoy the outdoors and watch the wildlife that is abundant in the area. Fish Camp Matagorda has everything you need for a wonderful coastal vacation with an on-site swimming pool (for rental guests only), outdoor lounge, 2 pavilions, BBQ pits, covered seating, stocked fishing pond (catch & release only), boat parking and much more.
Getting settled in on arrival is a breeze with self check in/check out via a lock box conveniently located on the front door of your bungalow. Entry code and further instructions will be sent in email prior to arrival. Ask about early check-in/late check-out availability (fee may apply).
We aim to be good stewards of our environment and ask all guests to do the same; please leave no trace and always leave a place better than you found it.
